Fall, 2018: Jaeden Allen sings A Beautiful Thing, originally written and recorded by Grace Vanderwaal.
Fall, 2018: Ashton Bricker Took on a clever sound design project, using numerous sound effects to create a meeting held by cats. Listen for the arguing, cats stomping out, and an unwelcome dog.
Fall, 2018 and winter, 2019: Roman Rivers sings 9, a song originally recorded by Willow Smith feat SZA. Roman's breathy voice really adds to the emotionality of the song. This is what it sounds like when you sing from the heart.
Fall, 2022 and winter, 2023: Students worked together as a group to record several fun podcasts. This video contains samples of some of those podcasts plus a few fun pieces of video recorded by members of the class. Most of this video is black. That's because the teacher, Dr. Don, couldn't figure out how to work the video editing software in time to make a full video by the end of the semester. These podcasts were audio recordings, so the video was just a fun add-on. (Seriously though, watch the last 15 seconds!)
Spring, 2023: Students chose their own contributions to the class project. Some sang, some spoke, some screamed, and some laughed. Even the school's fire alarm system made an appearance. All contributions were tied together with a rhythm borrowed from Eminem. Really, this is just a fun mash-up, and it shows the wide variety of creative expression of our students.
